Opening following relaxation of Covid-19 measures


The cookery school is currently open for business.  We are currently taking bookings for small private groups until the measures are relaxed in June.  We are offering day courses for groups up to 6.

The main courses are beginning again in September and we are focussing this Autumn on 2 day courses.  Having had time to re-think the direction of the business this year, I feel strongly that it’s time to dive a bit deeper into wild food and offer people a chance to really experience the whole process of foraging, food preparation and cooking with wild ingredients.

This is much more possible over 2 days, where we get longer to forage in all habitats, time to prepare the ingredients for cooking and then get longer to cook and to create dishes to eat on the day and to make condiments and preserves to take home.

I believe this will give people more confidence to bring wild food into their lives and now is such a good time to learn new skills, connect to nature and feel the health benefits of eating wild food and spending more time outside.

We have a new date for the Gurnards Head Forage & Feast Day of 25th June.  If you have an old booking for this event please email caroline to re-book.
