A great introduction to Cornwall’s fantastic wild greens in a beautiful setting on the Lizard.  We’ll be exploring woodland, fields and hedgerows for wild herbs, salads and vegetables and some Spring flowers too.  We’ll end the day with a bowl of hearty nettle and wild garlic soup with some seaweed bread and wild teas.

Description

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

Anyone inquisitive about our Spring wild greens that grow in abundance in Cornwall.  We’ll be looking at hedgerow and woodland herbs, salads and vegetables and finishing with a wild soup of nettle and wild garlic with homemade seaweed bread.  We’ll be trying some wild teas and salads too.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DAY?

Guided 2 hour foraging walk, nettle and wild garlic soup, homemade seaweed bread and wild teas.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

A bottle of water, waterproof clothing, walking shoes/boots or wellies, pen & notebook, camera.

IS THE COURSE SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS?

Yes, the food will be vegetarian and we also cater for food intolerances like gluten and dairy free diets. Please let us know in advance.
